Then there's the unreleased-in-America Super Mario Bros. I've never really done one before, but I think they're really fun. Boo races that you unlock for 100,000 points. Besides the original Mario, you have content that can be unlocked. This game never gets old, no matter how old it really is. It reminds me of Galaga '88 "Ragtime" (level 14 of Galaga '88). The newly added mode select music sounds really cool. Everything else isn't really better, but it still is great. I do like the title screen music and the map sound effect (the beep. Just because the sound isn't exactly like the original Mario doesn't mean it's better than it. The GBC could have easily put SMB on the whole screen). I know we want it to look like the original Super Mario, but that's what the whole point is (I'm only talking about the camera scheme, mind you. The title screen and the map screen look great, but I think the game play could look just a bit better. I know the Game boy color is 8-bit, but it doesn't mean the graphics could be better. For a Game boy color game, I doubt this could be any better.
There is a lot of content and the second game was added. There are no cons except for the missing content in the lost levels and the camera scheme. Super Mario Bros Deluxe Review by: RetroGameNinja - 9.7/10 Better than the rest This game is a wonder for those of you who are nostalgic or just love platform genre games (me).
